In her current show at Winkleman Gallery, The Reappraisal, Jennifer Dalton hired Christie's auction house to appraise the value of all the items in her apartment (a rehash of a previous incarnation of the project, The Appraisal). Dalton photographed and cataloged the subsequent documents by color coding to present in the gallery space. The first estimate was assessed by Dalton, the second by Christie's, and the final "Your Price" reflects the value that the artist puts upon that particular object - and the price at which gallery patrons can actually purchase the item.
