this is a photo that i took more than five years ago. i found it on my hard drive yesterday; it was named, 'home'. in retrospect, it seems to be both more and less true, even though it feels like a place/concept that doesn't exist anymore.
i've been feeling the same about "home". i recently gave myself permission to move away from seattle if necessary. this doesn't mean seattle failed me in any way, it just might be time to move on.
