i have a love-hate relationship with the midwest. the air smells like childhood, the coffee tastes like shit, driving around lost won't give you an aneurysm, and all the houses have shutters on their windows.
mostly it is like any other place, only the lawns are larger than average, and the light is like a good dream that you never want to wake up from.
but i am getting a lot of work and thinking done about various things, so that's something, too.
